COCORA Silk Armbands
Named after the astonishing COCORA Valley in the heart of the coffee region of Colombia, this collection reminded us of one of the most famous must-to-see places in Colombia, home of our national tree, the Wax Palm and the majestic Andean Condor.
COCORA was the name of a fearless Quimbaya princess living in the valley during colonial times. The Spanish meaning of the name is Estrella de Agua (star of water).
As brave as COCORA, these bracelets are thought to be worn as a single, audacious piece as well as when paired with other of our silk armbands or beaded cords.
