Inspired by their homeland's biodiversity and the extraordinary richness of Ecuador's fine aromatic cocoa, they set out on a quest to create exquisite chocolates that could enchant people globally.
The journey into the cocoa world began in Ecuador's tropical forests, where the welcoming climate and the warmth of the local communities embraced both natives and newcomers. Through these experiences, the Huma Chocolate team gained a profound appreciation for the farmers and their precious cocoa fruits. Presently, we're actively engaged in training and collaborative programs with small-scale producers, aimed at enhancing crop quality and value while promoting sustainable agriculture and environmental preservation.

Derived from the Kichwa language, "Huma" translates to "head" in Spanish, symbolizing our commitment to bolstering Ecuador's prominence in the chocolate world.
