ESPERANZA T-Shirt
ESPERANZA means "hope" in Spanish.
Designed by Andrea Bonilla, the pattern on the ESPERANZA T-Shirt represents the female reproductive system, and has been embroidered with wild berries and flowers from the Andean region, La Esperanza.
By purchasing a T-Shirt from the Esperanza Collection, workshops are given to the artisans and their daughters providing them with valuable information concerning their menstrual health, the usage of menstrual cups and the donation of one of them is provided for.
The workshops are coordinated with the "Red de Mujeres de Imbabura" ("Imbabura Women's Network") in Ecuador, and the menstrual cup has been provided by Einhorn GmbH from Berlin.
