Join us on Saturday, 1 August 2026, for a special evening celebrating Latin American art, craftsmanship and community as Mercado Amigo marks the second anniversary of our Munich store.
The exhibition will feature original watercolour paintings by Mexican artist Maria Brito, presented alongside vibrant Mola textile artworks from Colombia.
Through delicate brushstrokes, layered textiles and expressive colour, the exhibition brings together distinctive artistic traditions from Latin America. Maria Brito’s watercolours are inspired by the landscapes, markets, people, traditional clothing and everyday life of Mexico, while the Molas reveal intricate textile techniques and stories expressed through pattern, fabric and colour.
We are also delighted to welcome CEYOL, an interior design brand and special guest for the evening. CEYOL will present a curated selection of ceramic pieces and thread art from Mexico, creating a dialogue between traditional craftsmanship, contemporary interiors and artistic expression.
Guests are invited to explore the exhibition, discover the displayed pieces and celebrate two years of Mercado Amigo—a space dedicated to meaningful objects, cultural stories and creative encounters.
A complimentary drink will be offered to our customers during the evening.
