Golden Poison Frog

Golden Poison Frog / Schrecklicher Pfeilgiftfrosch / Phyllobates terribilis
Conservation status: EN - Endangered 

This tiny yellow frog is endemic to the humid forest of the Pacific coast of Colombia and it's venom one of the most toxic on Earth.

The local indigenous Emberá people have used its powerful venom for centuries where the tip of their darts remains deadly for up to two years.

Materials  

Single 4mm & Triple 4mm: 64 silk threads, metallic embroidery thread, gold-filled tubes, waxed cord.
Single 8mm: 120 silk threads, metallic embroidery thread, black coated beads, waxed cord. (can be delivered with gold-filled tubes under request.

 
Care 

To ensure long-lasting and bright colours, we recommend washing your armband only by hand, using a delicate detergent. Use a towel to soak up water and let it dry flat.
